Covid 19; The Foreign Enemy

Covid 19 has had so many names since the beginning. It’s hard to describe to someone who would never seen it. Covid has been called the unstoppable sickness, rona, and so much more. It’s crazy to think at one point we all thought it was a joke. Then before we knew it, it reached the United States and quarantine started.

Covid 19 is Hell and the demons were everything that came along with it in its truest form. There was nothing more anyone wanted than for it to just disappear. This virus took so much from us, lives, social interactions, graduations, and so much more. This has been months of living in fear and sadness because people can’t learn to listen and stay home. Hell has always been told as such a terrifying place, and that for me has been the outside world for the past year.

Covid is alien invader. Life was peaceful and almost perfect and then it came crashing down all at once. It was almost as if we knew something like this was coming and didn’t attempt to prevent it from the beginning. This alien invasion had so much hurt come along with it, it’s hard to stop an enemy without knowing it’s weaknesses. We went into this war knowing nothing about who we were facing and how to stop them. Now here we are, one year later still trying to win this war against this foreign killer.
